Une Maison de Parents en Bourgogne

The "Maison de Parents" in Dijon is a house for outpatients and inpatients's relatives and friends created in 2000. It is managed by an independent non-profit association gathering individuals and legal entities and created in 1994.
A team of employees and volunteers are here to welcome and help you.
The "Maison de Parents" works with public and private health care establishments from Dijon and around which help you to book a room.

Some statistics for 2012:
     11 150 nights
     80 % of the guests come from Burgundy and border departments.
     81 % of the guests are relatives or close friends of hospitalized patients
     19 % of the guests are outpatients
Many partners are involved in the house life such as the regional health insurance fund of Burgondy and Franche-Comté and all regional/primary health insurance funds.
The association is a member of the National federation of host institutions for inpatients.
The Board of Directors ensures all functions of social proxy and consists of 4 colleges:

The AFMH college (Inpatients' families association)
The Mutualité Française Bourgogne college (MFB is a mutual insurance system in Burgondy)
The college of members

A representative of the University Hospital and the CGFL (cancer centre) take part in the Board of Directors' work.
